Jonathan Katz is a professional street photographer who lives in Denver, Colorado. As a photographer, he does not take photos of people or street scenes. Instead, Jonathan walks the streets and alleyways of his residential Denver neighborhood looking for photographic subjects of everyday surfaces and mundane objects as his visual palette. What some people see as a destroyed surface, garbage, or decaying ruins, Jonathan will find beauty. Through close-ups of the destroyed or decaying subjects, he finds artistic beauty which he then turns into a piece of fine art that graces the home of many.
