The Auxiliary Magazine CMS Web Design Project began in 2014. Auxiliary Magazine was recommended to our design agency by a past client and photographer, Aaron Ingrao. The online magazine had been previously built using WordPress, and over time had become dated and heavy with plugins causing the site to crash regularly. Working hand and hand with the chief editor, Jennifer Link Kieffer, the magazine redesign took a little over a year but was well worth the effort. The new site features a responsive slider that updates dynamically, Pinterest style article listing, responsive design, social sharing, online purchasing of magazines and subscriptions, plus extensive forms to aid in submitting articles and photographs.
